Passing of Sijo Adriano D. Emperado

With a very heavy heart I would like to inform everyone that our founder and leader of Kajukenbo Self Defense Institute (KSDI), Sijo Adriano D. Emperado has passed away. Sijo Adriano D. Emperado passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 4, 2009 at approximately 11:15 pm. He passed away on Maui, Hawaii the island that he loved and was home to him.
This is a great loss for everyone in Kajukenbo worldwide.

Free preview class at Civil Service Club 60 Tessensohn Rd Singapore 26th November.

This thursday, 26th November 2009, there will be a free preview class at the Civil Service Club, 60 Tessensohn Rd. from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in the Venus Room on the 4th floor. If this class is a success, Zen Do Kai will have another venue to train at in 2010, so please make every effort to come and bring your friends & family along.

Those of us who are martial artist think of ourselves as a brotherhood, and rightly so.
